    Brian Joseph McCook, known past his drag persona Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova, or mononymously as Katya (Russian: Катя), is an American elevate queen, player, author, recording artist, and comedian. Katya is best known for placing 5th on the seventh season of RuPaul's Elevate Race and placing equally runner-upwards on the second season of RuPaul'southward Drag Race All Stars, as well as for appearing in the World of Wonder spider web series UNHhhh and the Viceland series The Trixie & Katya Testify with co-host and fellow season 7 alum Trixie Mattel. In June 2019, a panel of judges from New York magazine placed Katya 13th on their list of "the most powerful drag queens in America", a ranking of 100 onetime Drag Race contestants.
